On Saturday, September 29, Nabilah Noordin and Space & Material hosted a Floral Embroidery workshop. Our attendees learned how to create three different types of flowers, two different types of leaves and two different stem patterns using colorful embroidery floss. Nabilah showed us how to alternate the length of stitches to create a “blended” flower pattern and the best way to hide an embroidery knot. With these tips and tricks, our attendees were soon creating their own beautiful floral bouquets. Check out some of their work here:
Couldn’t make it to Floral Embroidery with Nabilah? No problem, we are hosting a Patch Embroidery workshop this Saturday, October 6. Click here for more details!
