KNITTED STOCKING
Learn how to knit a festive stocking! This workshop introduces the technique of knitting in the round using double pointed needles – a knitting method that results in a knitted tube, traditionally used for socks and mittens. Participants will learn decorative stitches, shaping, and how to create and plan out coloured patterns within their knitting. Prior knitting experience is a bonus but not essential – beginners are very welcome!
All materials and tools will be provided.

BECKY DOONAN
Becky Doonan is a freelance textile conservator, with a background in textile crafts and dressmaking. Her day job as a conservator brings her into regular contact with historic textiles, and she has a longstanding fascination with traditional textile craft techniques, which she explores through activities such as hand spinning, knitting, and other handicrafts.
