BASIC CLOTH STITCHING

Are you looking to balance the pressure of modern living? Come pick up a needle and thread and lose yourself in a process that is reflective and where simplicity is key.  Taking inspiration from quilting, Kantha techniques and the Japanese stitching methods of Boro and Sashiko you will explore the possibilities of plain sewing.  During the session you will turn pieces of repurposed fabric into art works and use hand stitches to give a textile object character.
