Meet Anne
I love showing people my work, my process and my thoughts. I am really passionate about my work, and love to make people excited about these things. I wanna share as much as possible – so if you follow my instagram (@annestijnen) you’ll be spammed with works-in-progress, and of course I also share the end-result.
On inspiration
Letters inspire me in a way that I had never believe they would. We use letters daily, and they have become ‘normal’ to most of us. I try to get them out of this connotation by making them abstract, by making it an image instead of ‘just a letter’.
On schedules
By doing what I love as a job, work doesn’t feel like work. I like to think of my work as just ‘creating cool stuff’. Ofcourse I have some assignments and chores that are not as loved as others – but I try to balance the good stuff with the less exciting things, like 70%-30%.
Tips for starters
My tip to a beginner would be: DO WHAT YOU LOVE! I’ve always believed that if you’re passionate about what you do, you can make everything work. Listen to your heart and work hard to make things happen.
